support for SIIC is obtained through the London insurance market,
principally Lloyds of London syndicates. many of the reinsurers
have provided reinsurance to SIIC and SIAI for over twenty years.

relationship with their underwriters.
SIIC selects
reinsurers that are rated A or better by A.M. Best and one reinsurer
rated A by Demotech. These reinsurers absorb a large portion of
any large claims thus softening the financial impact on the Scaffold
